Notes
A funerary inscription set up by a freedman of the collegia of the centonarii and the fabri (Fabricius Centon̂ius, / collegiorum lib(ertus), / Cresimus). The plural collegiorum  indicates that both retained their separate identity.
Cf. Liu 2009: 177-178
Standard text of source Fabriciae / Centoniâe / Arethusae, uxori / optimae, êt Chresime / filiae carissim(ae), / Fabricius Centon̂ius, / collegiorum lib(ertus), / Cresimus.
Translation For Fabricia Centonia Arethusa, (my) best wife and Chresime, my dearest daughter. Fabricius Centonius Cresimus, freedman of the guilds
Notes on the source Dated by Verboven based on the 'ius manumittendi' being granted to 'universitates' only under Marcus Aurelius and affective superlative (late second c. onwards); the end date can't be determined with certainty.
