Translation |
To Caius Valerius Surus, son of Caius, of the Papiria triba, decurio of the colony of Sarmizegetusa metropolis, aedilician, prefect of the craftsmen guild, and duumviralis of the same colony. Titus Aurelius Emeritus, centurio of the Sixth Legion Victrix Severiana, (has set up this monument) to his father-in-law. The location was granted by decree of the decuriones.
