The inscription was carved on the little base of a silver statuette (probably a bust) of the empress Crispina Augusta, dedicaed to the Genius of the dendrophori of Ostia. It was donated to the association by the high priest of Cybele, the archigallus of the city and mentioned number of donations and a handout of one denarius to each of the dendrophori. The donations comprised:
- the silver statuette of the empress weighing three pounds of silver (c. 980 g).
- a bronze ornamental shield
- a statue probably of Attis

To the Genius of the dendrophori of Ostia. Quintus Caecilius Fuscus, archigallus of the colony of Ostia has given as a gift to the dendrophori of Ostia: a likeness of Crispina Augusta in silver (weighing) three pounds, and a shield in bronze, and a statue of (Attis?) the Phrygian. He dedicated (this statuette) and gave to each (dendrophorus) a handout of one denarius.

« Au Génie des dendrophores d’Ostie, Quintus Caecilius Fuscus, archigalle de la colonie d’Ostie [---] a offert en don aux dendrophores d’Ostie une statuette de Crispina Augusta, de trois livres d’argent, et un bouclier [---] d’argent et une statuette [---] de [---] phrygien (?) [et---] il l’a dédiée et il a donné [---] à chacun une sportule d’un denier ».
