A funerary inscription set up by a woman for herself and her husband, who was decurio of the collegium fabrum tignuariorum. The husband, Q. Haterius Euagogus, may have been a member of the family of the building contractor Q. Haterius Tychicus.

Iulia Arescusa fecit sibi et / Q(uinto) Haterio Euagogo coniugi suo bene mer(enti) / dec(urioni) coll(egii) fabrum tignuariorum / libertis libertabus posterisq(ue) eorum / et Q(uinto) Haterio Valenti itu ambitu et / Iuliae Euraesini filiae itu ambitu excepto / Q(uinto) Haterio Felice ne introitu habeat in / hoc monumento h(oc) m(onumentum) h(eredem) n(on) s(equetur)

Translation |
Iulia Arescusa has made (this monument) for herself and for Quintus Haterius Euagogus her well-deserving husband, decurio of the guild of carpenters/builders, for their freedmen and -women and their descendents, and to Quintus Haterius Valens (she gave the right) to enter and circulate (the tomb freely), and to Iulia daughter of Euraesinus, to enter and circulate (freely), except for Quintus Haterius Felix who may not have (right of) entry to this monument. This monument shall not pass to the heir.
