This small (15 x 30 cm) marble base with inscription was found in the schola of the fabri tignuarii of Ostia (the'Caseggiato dei Triclinii' Ostia I,XII, 1, Van Haeperen 2019d). It records a dedication to Jupiter Optimus Maximus and the donation of 10 silver statuettes of Lares by a benefactor, 'in response to a vision' (ex viso). The material of statuette of Jupiter on the preserved base is not specified.
