Standard text of source
------] / [ob adf]ection(em) / [col]leg(ium) / [fabr]orum* / [---]R patrono / [opti]mo / [d(ecreto)] d(ecurionum)
Translation … for his good disposition ? The guild of craftsmen … to their best patron, by decree of the decuriones.
Notes on the source *  based on [opti]mo only about four letters appear to be missing on the lef. This is not enough for [dendroph]orum, [centonari]orum, or [utriclari]orum, the three other important 'collegia' in Cemenelum. The lay-out of the last line, precludes [L(ocus) D(atus) D(ecreto)] D(ecurionum. [D(e) S(uo)] D(ederunt) or …. D(edicaverunt) are other possibilities.
