To the God-Spirits of the Dead and the eternal memory of … Caesonius Nicon, sevir Augustalis of Lugdunum, member among the carpenters/builders residing at Lugdunum … Caesonius Menas has taken care (of setting up this monument) and dedicating (it) 'sub ascia' to his best co-freedman.
