Notes on dating Dated based on the use of 'denarii' in stead of 'sestertii' and the surprisingly high sum 400 denarii would represent before the later second century. The use of the 'tria nomina' argues against a date too far in the third century.

Translation
To the God-Spirits of the Dead. For Quintus Ianuarius Zosimus. He has lived 35 years, and Ianuaria Candida. She lived 30 years. Ianuarius Agathangelus has set up (this monument) to his most devoted children. For the funeral, however, of Zosimus and the inscription the guild of craftsmen has contributed 400 denarii.
