Translation | To (Quintus Solonius Fabius Severinus) … triumvir capitalis, quaestor with the authority of praetor, likewise governour of the province of Pontus and Bitynia, aedilis plebis, praetor. He has fulfilled these honourable offices, by favour of the emperor, at a younger age as is customarily allowed. The location (for this monument) has been given by decree of the decuriones. To the Honour of Quintus Solonius Fabius Severinus, eminent man, for his bygone merits and present generosity by which the baths are opened earlier for use by the common people. (This monument was set up) by the carpenters/builders of Nemausus. |
