… honoured with the insignia … sevir Augustalis and quinquennalis, likewise quinquennalis of the guild of carpenters/builders, likewise member and quinquennalis and bisellarius in the corporation of dealers on the Forum Vinarium of the republic of Ostia, old merchant shipper light-boat man, likewise renowned banker, in this … memory … merits … countrydwellers … chapel .. of his freedman but also my freedmen in my name shall observe the faithfulness of (my) slaves and shall take care that the 10,000 sesterces need not be paid over to the republic of Ostia as a fine.
