To the God-Spirits of the Dead and the eternal peace of Caius Rusonius Secundus, sevir Augustalis of the colony of Claudia Copia Augusta Lugdunum, also cloak dealer. Caius Rusonius Myron, sevir Augustalis at Lugdunum, former officer (honoratus) (of their association), also clothman, former officer (of their guild), and incorporated cloak dealer, to his fellow freedman (full) of good examples towards me, his heir. I have set up (this monument) alone on his instruction and dedicated it sub ascia.
