For the wellbeing of Imperator Caesar Marcus Aurelius Commodus Antoninus Augustus. To the Divine Powers of the Augustus and the whole Divine House and the (graceful) state of the colony of Copia Claudia Augusta Lugdunum have the dendrophori residing in Lugdunum performed the bull sacrifice, the 16th day before the Kalends of July (16 June) during the consulship of Imperator Caesar Marcus Aurelius Commodus, for the sixth time, and Marcus Sura Septimianus (190 CE), following the prophesy of Pusonius Iulianus, the archigallus, the priest being Aelius Castrensis, the pipe-player being Flavius Restitutus, in honour of everyone. Claudius Silvanus, life-long quinquennalis, has remitted the cost of this altar. The location was given by decree of the decuriones.
