Translation |
To the God-Spirits of the Dead and the eternal memory of Marcus Primius Secundianus sevir Augustalis of the colony of Copia Claudia Augusta Lugdunum, curator of the same body, river shipper of the Rhone sailing the Saone, (accepted as) member among the carpenters/builders of the foreign residents at Lugdunum, dealer in brines. Marcus Primius Augustus, his on and here, set up (this sacrophagus) to his dearest father and dedicated it 'sub ascia'.
