To Marcus Cominius Quintus, son of Marcus, of the Papiria tribe, pontifex of the colony of Sarmizegetusa and praefectus quinquennalis on behalf of the emperor Antoninus, patron of the guild of craftsmen, (endowed) with the public horse. The senate of the colony (has set up this monument) for this his services.
