No offices are recorded for Fulcinius Verus, but he or his family must have ranked among the more prominent members of the city council, since the order decreed that he would have a public funeral, three pounds of frankincense should be burned at public expense and he received a funerary inscription at public expense. In addition the craftsmen guild offered frankincense to be burned in his honour.
