Notes	Initially an auxiliary camp, then in 89 CE a legionary castrum. A civilian settlement grew around the camp. It was established as the capital of Pannonia Inferior by Trajan in 106 CE, made a municipium in 124 CE under Hadrian and then elevated to the status of colonia in 194 CE by Severus.
